WAITLIST FAQ – HOW IT WORKS
How does the waitlist work?
When you join a waitlist, our system assumes you’d like to attend the class if a spot becomes available. You are responsible for monitoring your waitlist, notifications may not always be sent.
What happens if a spot opens up?
More than 2 hours before class:
You’ll be automatically added if you’re next on the waitlist.Less than 2 hours before class:
You’ll receive a notification asking if you’d like to take the spot. Please make sure to check your spam and optin for text messages, you are still responsible to monitor waitlist activity on the bluecarrot app.
Why am I automatically added to class?
Automatic adds help prevent empty spots and long waitlists. This system ensures members who want to attend are able to get into class efficiently.
What if I don’t want to be added overnight or last minute?
If you’re on a waitlist and don’t want to be added—including overnight—please remove yourself from the waitlist before going to bed. Cancellations can occur at any time.
What happens if I’m added and don’t show up?
If you are automatically added from the waitlist and do not attend or cancel within the required window, the no-show or late-cancel policy applies, and the associated fee of $20 + tax for no-show or $15+ tax for late cancel will be charged to your account and loss of credit, no exceptions. This applies to all members equally.
Why does staying on the waitlist matter?
Remaining on the waitlist holds your place and prevents others from being added. Removing yourself when you can no longer attend helps other members get into class.
Will I always get a notification?
Notifications are only sent if a spot opens within 2 hours of class. Earlier openings result in automatic adds without notification. You are still responsible to monitor the waitlist activity on the app incase the notification was not sent.
How can I make sure I receive notifications?
Please ensure:
Email notifications are enabled (check spam/junk folders)
Text messages are turned on if you want SMS alerts
Check profile tab -> notifications
Will I get a refund if I accidentally forget to remove myself from the waitlist or don’t receive a notification?
No. Once you join a waitlist, it becomes your responsibility to monitor it. Remaining on the waitlist holds a spot and prevents someone else from getting in. For this reason, refunds or fee reversals cannot be issued.
Will I get my credit back if I don’t get into class?
Yes. If the class ends and you were not added from the waitlist, your credit will be automatically returned to your bluecarrot account.
Where is this policy explained?
This policy is outlined in the membership agreement you signed upon purchasing membership or class packs and booking terms and is designed to keep classes accessible and fair for everyone.
